Working Student (f/m/d) Group Legal & Compliance

Heidelberg Materials has launched its digitalization offensive with its „Beyond 2020“ strategy. Our mission is to become the first industrial technology company in the building materials industry. In addition to digitalizing existing processes, the focus is on developing new digital business models.

The Group Legal & Compliance department of Heidelberg Materials AG provides legal advice to the management of the Heidelberg Materials Group, other corporate functions and the operational business of our affiliates in Germany. We operate in an international environment, where working with colleagues and partners from numerous countries and dealing with legal matters from various jurisdictions are part of our daily work - as well as providing guidance and support in business decisions and mitigating legal risks.

To support particularly our Practice Group Digital, IT Law & Procurement in Heidelberg, we are looking for a working student (f/m/d) for Group Legal & Compliance as soon as possible.


Your next challenge

  • Involvement in and support with the daily tasks of the legal team, in particular the Practice Group Digital, IT Law and Procurement
  • Collaboration in projects, e.g. support and further development of legal operations tools (especially the Contract and Legal Content Management System)
  • Supporting the preparation of digital communication tools such as explanatory videos (e-learnings), as well as support and maintenance of the handbook
  • Editorial tasks in the communication of legal/IT/ topics (GER + EN) and contribution of ideas for communication concepts
  • Research and translations (English-German/German-English)

Your profile

  • Law Student, Legal Tech, or similar
  • Very good MS Office 365 skills
  • High IT affinity
  • Programming skills are not required but considered a plus
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with unfamiliar planning, collaboration, and communication tools
  • Innovative thinking and the ability to solve problems
  • Ability to work independently
  • Teamplayer
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Ideally, initial practical experience in the field of law and IT
