Working Student (f/m/d) Employee Development and Growth

The Transformation Office is seeking a working student (f/m/d) (10h/week) to support employee development and growth initiatives within the Digital department of Heidelberg Materials. The Digital Transformation Office plays a vital role in enabling our international teams to implement and embrace digital solutions, fostering a culture of agility, and driving the necessary behavioral and mindset changes for a successful global digital transformation.


As a Working Student in Employee Development and Growth, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the transformation team in various aspects, including change management, training, professional career growth, and management trainings. You will work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment within our digital department. This position is based in Heidelberg, Germany, with the possibility of remote work.


Your next challenge

  • Support the transformation team in implementing change management strategies and activities.
  • Assist in the development and execution of communication plans to ensure effective dissemination of information to employees.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of trainings and workshops.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and address employee concerns and challenges during the transformation journey.
  • Assist in analyzing feedback and data to measure the impact of change initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of employee engagement programs to foster a positive and supportive work environment.

Your profile

  • Studies in psychology, educational sciences, communication, business administration, change management, or a comparable field
  • Proficiency and fluency in English, German is a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good analytical skills, you can understand problems and find solutions for them
  • You are goal-driven, creative, curious and proactive
  • You are a good communicator
  • You work well independently and in a team of people with international backgrounds
