Global Project Procurement Execution Manager (f/m/d)

As Global Project Procurement Execution Manager, you will support the MPT (Multidisciplinary Procurement Team) and the Leader of the Project Procurement Team in multiple large projects. You are responsible for the Project Execution structure and successful delivery in those projects by building a robust execution plan for all Project Procurement Execution services to ensure suppliers and sub suppliers achieve their project obligations.




Your next challenge

Management and Collaboration:
  • You will take an active role in international projects working with multiple Projects MPTs for Carbon Capture and Cement Projects, being responsible to implement Project Purchasing Execution Process for the projects
  • Collaborate with Global Category/Procurement Leaders and Buyers in obtaining technical specifications from engineering on-time
  • Support critical order negotiations (high value, critical contract set-up)
  • Effectively distribute and communicate relevant project information within the sourcing team
  • Be responsible for Cost, Forecast and Change Management Reporting

Planning and Strategy Development:
  • Develop and drive end-to-end Project Purchasing Execution Strategies solutions to achieve the required supplier performance for a project
  • Own the Project Procurement Plan for Execution alongside the MPT / Project Director and Project Procurement Leader
  • Provide competent risk measures across all Project Procurement related disciplines including Logistics, Quality, Cost monitoring, Scheduling and Expediting

Exectution & Supplier Management:
  • Deliver the material and services for the Project on time
  • Organize and compile progress monitoring and reporting for project and project supplier progress
  • Provide the Procurement Cost Overview where applicable
  • Coordinate onshore, offshore, and on-site procurement activities for the project



Your profile

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management, preferably within Cement or Oil & Gas Business
  • Very Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and regulation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage procurement activities and very experienced in scheduling/planning of large and complex projects
  • Good understanding of legal/contractual aspects of an EPC contract
  • Good understanding of the Global Supply Chain incl. Logistics and Quality procedures and applicable duties
  • Experience in project management
  • Proven track record of managing supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing
  • Degree or Bachelor Degree
  • Strong verbal and written skills for effective communication and negotiation with various stakeholders
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, coaching, and stakeholder management
