For the first time, the company’s reporting was prepared considering the CSRD disclosure requirements. As a result, the company expanded the scope and now reports even more comprehensively than in previous years on policies, actions, targets, and metrics around ten sustainability topics that are relevant to Heidelberg Materials. In this context, measures to achieve the SBTi-validated CO₂ reduction target of net-zero emissions by 2050 are explained, among others.
