Quarry Life Award: public vote

Since April 2016, the participants of the international Quarry Life Award have been carrying out their projects at selected HeidelbergCement quarries. Until the end of September, they will continue to research biodiversity, test new methods of biodiversity management or develop concepts for practical environmental education and cooperation with local interest groups.

And, as in previous years, the public will have the opportunity to choose their favourites: at the project's website

(www.quarrylifeaward.com/participating-projects) and social media sites, anyone can follow the progress of the researchers and, until 30 September, cast a vote in support of their personal favourite project. Those who register at the Quarry Life Award website

(www.quarrylifeaward.com/user/register) can review and rate the projects.

The public vote ends along with the research phase on 30 September 2016. The projects with the most votes will be featured on the Quarry Life Award website. The results of the public vote, however, will not influence the decisions of the jury for the national and international competition.
