Akasya Acibadem (Turkey)
Akasya Acibadem is a 182,000 m2 big shopping mall in Istanbul, Turkey, and part of a mixed-use development with 1,600 residential units, 80,000 m2 of commercial space, 5,500 parking spaces, and 7,500 m2 of lakes, including three high-rise residential towers of 41, 40, and 36 stories, along with other buildings up to 14 stories tall across a total area of 630,000 m2. At 173 m, the highest tower ranks among the top-five tallest buildings in Istanbul. In the centre of the development is a Central Park, featuring 26,000 m2 of green space (out of a total green area of 58,200 m2), as well as a cafe-restaurant, sports and recreation facilities, indoor pool, wellness club, and other services.
Akasya Acibadem was built using building materials provided by Betonsa, a joint venture of HeidelbergCement and SABANCI.
