Heidelberg Materials expands recycling business with acquisition of B&A Group in the UK
Heidelberg Materials has acquired B&A Group, one of the leading construction soil and aggregates recycling companies in South West England. The company specialises in the supply of recycled and primary aggregates as well as site clearance, earthworks, land remediation, and sustainable land regeneration. B&A Group employs a team of 70 people and achieved a revenue of more than £50 million in 2023.
The acquisition of B&A Group is another example of Heidelberg Materials’ commitment to conserving natural materials and promoting the circular economy through recycling, reusing, and reducing the use of primary raw materials.
Following the completion of the Mick George Group acquisition, B&A Group adds an additional source of high-quality recycled materials for use in Heidelberg Materials’ sustainable building materials, thus strengthening the company’s circular economy footprint in the UK.
