CO₂ Value Europe
A new European association dedicated to CO2 utilisation
On 30 November, 60 leading industrial and research organisations launched CO2 Value Europe, a new European association dedicated to CO2 utilisation. The mission of the association is to contribute to the reduction of global CO2 emissions by promoting the development and market deployment of sustainable industrial solutions that convert CO2 into valuable products.
CO2 Value Europe gathers stakeholders from all relevant sectors of the CO2 value chain: CO2 emitters from the main process industries, providers of decarbonated energy, industrial gas experts, transformation technology providers, users of CO2-based products and research organisations. HeidelbergCement is one of the founding members and, with Manuela Ojan, represented in the Managing Board.
