In 2006, Heidelberg Materials acquired its operations in Denmark.
Our subsidiary Heidelberg Materials Cement Danmark imports cement from Heidelberg Materials plants in Norway and Sweden and supplies it to Heidelberg Materials Cement Danmark and external customers in Denmark. Heidelberg Materials Beton Danmark operates its ready-mixed concrete plants across Denmark. With 17 plants, the company is one of the major ready-mixed concrete suppliers in Denmark.
Our precast concrete business in Denmark is conducted through subsidiary Heidelberg Materials Precast Denmark, which became fully owned in 2019. Heidelberg Materials Precast Denmark covers the whole market and the production plant is located in Tinglev, close to the German border.
